After the Congress rejected an alliance with the AAP in Delhi and angered the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, it is now losing another potential ally. Shivpal Yadav, the National President of the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party has also shown his disappointment towards the Congress not choosing them as allies.

He said, “we have been waiting for a month for the Congress, their leaders met us daily but they released the list in the middle of the discussions. Their leaders are also liars.”

In a recent interview, Shival Yadav said, “We are going to form a coalition with other secular parties, Congress is also one of those parties. If the Congress approaches us for an alliance then we are absolutely ready for it.”

Shivpal also commented on the SP-BSP gathbandhan(alliance) calling it a thugbandhan. He said, “it was an alliance formed for earning money”. At the same time, Congress UP in-change Gulam Nabi Azad ha said, “Congress will welcome any secular party in UP that has the motive of defeating the BJP” but it seems the PSP and Congress alliance has not been formed. Perhaps this is the reason Shivpal Yadav has taken to attacking the Congress like AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal.
