Sushma Swaraj, Indian External Affairs Minister has said that unless Pakistan takes action on terrorists on their own land, India can not negotiate with them.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj emphasized that dialogue and terrorism cannot happen at the same time. She added that if Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan is so generous, then they should hand over Masood Azhar to us.
In a conversation on ‘India’s World: Modi Government’s Foreign Policy’, she said on Wednesday that Pakistan needs to control the ISI and its army, which is repeatedly trying to ruin bilateral relations. According to the news agency PTI, she said, “We do not want to talk about terrorism, we want action on it. Terror and talk can not go together”.
After Indian air operations in Balakot, a question was also asked about Pakistani counter-terrorism, she said that India specifically targeted the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammad’s hideout. She also questioned the motive of Pakistan offering safe haven to terrorists.
Sushma Swaraj said after the Pulwama attack that she conveyed to many countries that India will not let the situation deteriorate with Pakistan, but, India will not remain silent if it is hit by terrorism from Pakistan.
