Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a trip to Uttar Pradesh today. After Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency, he reached Kanpur, popularly known as Manchester of the East.

PM Modi said that after the Pulwama terror attack, the brave fighters of our country made the entire nation proud. But, the opposition parties are undermining this feat for the political selfishness. The enemies of the country are getting power from the people who are accusing the military. Today, there is pressure from the whole world on Pakistan to curb terrorism in their own country. At such times our people who give statements questioning the achievements of our IAF are simply helping Pakistan. 

He said that the country’s biggest strength is the unity of the people and the brotherhood of the country. The atmosphere of unity in the country is empowering him to take a proactive decision will crush terrorism. PM Modi said that the UP government has taken immediate action on what some people in Lucknow had done with their Kashmiri brothers. He also urges other state governments to take strict action wherever wherever they try to do such an act.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during former governments, where many thousand crore rupees went in the name of cleaning Ganga, there was no progress to show. When the people gave him an opportunity to serve the country in 2014, the condition started to improve. The work of expanding the Pani Vidyut Project will be started at a cost of about Rs. 6000 crores. He said that upon completion of the work of Pani power plant, people will get electricity at half price and pollution in Kanpur will be reduced.
