The entire nation is coming forward to help the families of the martyred soldiers in the Pulwama attack. People associated with the cricket world are also doing their part to help the martyrs’ families. Now Indian Cricket team’s opener Shikhar Dhawan has revealed on Twitter that he too has helped donate to the martyr’s families and impolred all Indians to do the same.
Dhawan said that the 40 soldiers killed in this terrorist attack have caused him great anguish. The loss of the families of martyrs of this incident can hardly be felt, but he has done all in his power by helping them monetarily. He also appealed all his followers to do as much as they can to support the bravehearts. Prior to Dhawan, former Indian opener Virender Sehwag had also made an appeal to the help the family to the martyrs. Sehwag said that he will offer free education to all the martyrs children.
Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir also condemned the attack and expressed a strong statement. While paying tribute to the martyrs in the attack, Gambhir expressed that the talks with Pakistan should not be on the table but on the battlefield. Many former, as well as current Indian Cricketers, including the BCCI, have come forward and mourned the losses to the families.
